Families are the cornerstone of our society. A family is an intricate network of relationships, which foster the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual growth of all involved. It is a place where values are learned and traditions passed on. It is the place where children are “grown” and future citizens are created. Maintaining a healthy home environment, which balances the needs of all family members, can be a challenging task, especially during times of stress. This is where family counselling can help.

Family counselling is an opportunity for individuals, couples or whole families to examine their unique relationship dynamics and family patterns in order to reconnect with what is important to them. It is an environment where all family members can experience themselves and each other in different ways, and thus grow and become the best that they can be. In a safe and comfortable environment, family members can engage in honest and open communication, addressing any past “hurts” and conflicts, and can help heal themselves and each other.

Family counselling sessions are generally from one hour to one and a half hours in duration.

“After working with Anita, I have a stronger sense of myself and listening to my own needs amidst the challenges of life. I have more compassion for where I’m at and accepting of it. Thank you Anita for your wisdom and gentle heart”
